Professional Experience

Director of Client Solutions, Neudesic IBM Company, 2021 - 2023

Worked with clients to understand their business needs and then designed and implemented software architectures that met defined needs. I used various tools and methodologies to do this, including Azure DevOps, Jira, and Azure.

Owner, Pew-it Consulting, 2005 - Present

Architecting creative cloud solutions for corporate organizations.

As a software consultant and contractor, the focus is always on relieving a client's pain quickly.

Creating architectures that quickly solve problems with a concern for future needs and capabilities. Including new technologies provide the maximum future opportunity for clients to continue the improvement of solutions.

I have worked with a large HSA bank to develop new Azure-based architecture and defined and coordinated running many PoT projects to give the organization confidence in different solutions and defined training programs for the existing organization Developers and Solution Architects.

I have developed and delivered training to Microsoft employees and partners to teach how to develop and deliver Archidiaconal Design sessions.

Worked on a contract to move a $50,000/month infrastructure hosted in RackSpace to Amazon Web Services (AWS), where monthly costs were cut by at least 2k. The reliability and disaster recovery options were greatly improved as well. The scalability was greatly enhanced using Docker containers and additional serverless microservices created with .NET Core Lambda functions.

The new Lambda-based microservice-based API is the future offering for my client as they move away from a WinForms client to an API-based product offering.
